Bernie Ryan’s association with real estate spans over 40 years gaining his registration whilst he made his name as a jockey, riding most of the major race winners in WA which included the 1968 and 1977 Perth Cup Winners. Retiring from riding in 1989 but gaining the trust of the racing industry he continued to work in Real Estate for the last 20 years specialising in Ascot, Belmont, Redcliffe and Rivervale areas. Bernie finds Real Estate a rewarding industry – helping people make decisions about their most valuable asset. He likens each deal to ‘Riding A Winner’. Bernie is
currently President of the WA Jockeys Association, and holds other positions within the Racing Industry. Bernie’s achievements include being awarded the Centenary Medal by the Queen for outstanding service to the Racing Industry Community Service and Sport. In 2008, he was awarded Citizen of the Year by Rotary of Belmont for Service to the Community. Bernie’s lengthy association with Ray Grogan and Porter Matthews Victoria Park within the real estate industry confirms – that when you back Bernie you are ‘Backing a Winner’.
